I haven't posted in this thread for awhile -- just more images I thought worked better in color. Here's one in B and W though...

We actually live closer to the Staunton River, but here it's a small branch called the Seneca Creek that runs into Staunton River just north of Long Island (Long Island, Virginia, not the other Long Island). There's a lot of history around here and one of the early owners of Long Island was Patrick Henry.

Thanks John. The flooding was a PITA to deal with - closed parks and roads, but it did provide a few photo ops!

Kings Mountain Gateway Trail. The fence separates the trail from the abandoned part of an early 20th century quarry. Processed from .PEF in PSE via Silver EFX Pro 2.
