The Great Mid-Atlantic Feb 2010 Snowstorm

Ok, so, post your photos of the Great Mid-Atlantic Feb 2010 Snowstorm here.

UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE - SNOWZILLA & SON OF SNOWZILLA (my personal name for the storms)

We got upwards of 29" here in Sterling (just west of Washington, DC)

From our covered porch. 18"+ and still snowing

The cars 18"+ and still snowing

My Studio building in the back yard. 18"+ and still snowing

Wow Mike, that's a pile of snow!
Good luck to you and all around there.

Very curious about all the other photos.

I like the Man-Cave Mike
I think Baltimore got 26" I'm 35mi northeast and we probably only got 20" or so (I'm glad work hasn't called me in yet)
You can tell the drinkers and smokers- they just have to dig the cars out in case they run out

Well dang Mike, I posted over in the PYP forum. So now I'll have to double post here which is bad. So here's a couple.

At the worst of it, near whiteout conditions (and we're neither smokers nor drinkers but we thought it would be easier in the long run to dig out bit by bit rather than all at once):

Working on the digout with still several hours of snow to go:

I don't miss it! We lived in Frederick from '99-'06 and the storm of '03 (25") was the last straw for my back! Hope the same doesn't happen to any of you. Be careful.

Dang +1! I wish I'd seen this earlier.

I'll take the easy way out and post the link to my photos.

It's okay Dave. I think it's kind of funny all the threads in PYP with the first word of the title being "snowmageddon."

the official count here in philly was 28.5 inches. and now we've got another 12-16 coming tomorrow night into Wednesday. I actually escaped the snowfall because i was in the "mountains" celebrating an anniversary with my girlfriend. Thankfully i'll be around for part deux. this will actually be our 3rd 12"+ snowfall for this winter, and we only need another 9.3" to tie the most snowfall in a season on record.

are those of you south of me also getting more snow over the next few days?

The Washington Post seems to be in charge of naming the snows here. The first one: Snowpocolypse. The second: Snowmageddon. This one that's supposed to hit today: It appears the name they've settled on is Snoverkill.
