Black sand beach. To me the water looks cold, and it is because this beach is on Iceland.

Woah. Some real cumecs going through there. Years ago I was in the backcountry in the Kaimanawa ranges, in the middle of North Island New Zealand during a big storm. The area has deep pumice, tephra and other pyroclastic flow rocks from the historic Taupo eruption. We could hear and feel huge boulders moving down the river. This reminds me of that.

There's a stream of water coming from the fish's mouth, but it's hard to separate from the background.

Was very happily surprised by a vernal pool today. Amazing frogs making all sorts of noise, even saw a salamander!
