Cedar Run at the site of the Battle of Coffee Hill. ("Eastern Red Cedar" is the popular name of Juniperus Virgininia in these parts, so while they're not really cedars but junipers, there's lots of Cedar-This and Cedar-That place names around here.)

Yes. R-O-S is technically a type of hibiscus. I mostly thought so because, aside from the R-O-S in our yard, a place we rented when in grad school had a line of Rose-of-Sharon trees, and I was obliged to rake up those big rotting flowers when they fell. Beautiful trees, beautiful flowers, but somewhat of a clean-up bother when they're past blooming.
