Rick - that Vivitar close focus looks like a keeper!
I picked up a Vivitar 3x TC at a garage sale & have been playing with it lately. I used it with an M50/1.7 for these - the wind was gusting up to 25 mph on the flower shot

Captured this with an 55 1.8 takumar.
Took several shots, as the ball was spinning around.
Aperture was somewhere between 1.8 and 2.8.

I've got a 2x I use with my M50/1.7 - it looks like you get better results...

If I am not mistaken, I shot it with the DA35F/2.4 @ iso 3200 with o noise reduction on a K20D.

More from the K24/2.8... not the best, but ok. Sharpness is fantastic though, even wide open.
