I originally posted this one in the Soviet lens club, but I think it would fit in here as well. I love how old normal primes have a smooth bokeh with fairly little CA. Modern lenses have a much more harsh, jagged bokeh, often marred by general CA and purple fringing

These were taken earlier today with my new 100mm Macro WR. The photos themselves aren't anything too special, but I'm infatuated with the lens and it renders such wonderful, silky bokeh I have to share:

The actual flower in this photo isn't all that interesting, but the way the background rendered is pretty unique. I've never had bokeh turn out like this before. I'm not even sure what was back there to result in this, but I'll take it.
