Excellent series! Let me guess, the culprit is the DA35 Limited?

D-FA 100mm f/2.8 macro
DA 35mm f/2.8 macro ltd. again

DA* 50-135mm f/2.8

This is a cross post from another thread but hey.. they are all Bokeh shots.

Just a few shots from this morning. The birds that were with us all winter, I haven't seen them for a week, but, with the snow on the ground and their inability to forage for food in the bush, they remember where the easy stuff is.

Bokeh Man

Bokeh Man, saved from the sewers many years ago, seeks revenge on children who would commit such a cruel act. Shot with Tokina 16-28mm @ 28mm f2.8

Nice shots, Rick, Norm & others on this page. Norm, seems like you're in another world up there with the snow - wonderful bird shots.

Still got a few more M50/1.7 tractor shots...

Who knew old decaying farm machinery could be beautiful? It's the magic of the M50/1.7 and that Sony 6 megapickle sensor . Thanks for the comments! These were pretty much sooc shots, run thru Picasa with a tiny bit of touching up. Sometimes I'll use Gimp with some sharpening or denoise, but not too often. Those beautiful beer bottles of yours are making me thirsty! How is editing on a netbook screen? I hate using my laptop for edits - they look fine until I view them on my pc monitor!

And then you will be "angrier" when you look at them through a MacBook Pro or Mac monitor :P

YES, I do look at them through a 20" Apple Display and a 21" Dell Display, both Matte Screens since glossy tend to skew colors and contrast and they look good still.

IMAO, Apple made a big mistake when it went exclusively to "glossy" screens a few years ago and took away any option to get the Matte screen on their Laptops and iMacs...

When I work on images on my Mac, I quickly double check how it looks on a PC laptop and/or monitor, since over 90% of the world is still using them...

I try to bike everywhere, found the Netbook with my camera and an extra lens is the easiest package for my backpack.

Working on a tiny Netbook 10" widescreen is like learning how to manually focus a lens, once you get used to it, it's pretty easy but there is some technique involved. You should look into FastStone Image Viewer, Screen Capture, Photo Resizer ... - I've been using that over Picasa for the last couple of months, it has some extra stuff you might find helpful in fine tuning images and it's FREE. It has an awesome sharpening option but no noise reduction... (I still use Picasa when downloading from camera)

I would estimate I use my Netbook for 6 out of 10 images or Netbook hooked up to a Monitor 3 out of 10 or Mac 1 out of 10. It has a long battery life, and extremely portable...
