I did not intend to go out and do night shooting. I did intend to go out and shoot the sunrise, and morning Civil Twilight. Somehow I got to my destination at least a half an hour before Nautical Twilight, so I'm out there an hour and a half before the sun was to rise, and it was cold and windy. The half moon was bright, and reflecting of the ocean, so I thought I would try a moon photo, and it came out better than I expected. I knew the moon would come out as some kind of bright point at 30 seconds, but again, better than I thought. There was a little tidal pool jutting into the beach at this spot so I chose it for extra reflection. KP and DA15, F8, ISO 100, 30 seconds.
