Nice! I thought it looked familiar. I'm going back to Yokohama in January. Unfortunately I'll only be in Shinjuku very briefly on this trip.
FYI, the CP+ in Yokohama is Feb27 - Mar1, if you can extend your stay

I'd love to see it, but I can't unless I change jobs. There's all sorts of events I'd like to see in Tokyo if I had the chance - camera shows, motor shows, cosplay/manga events (mostly for the photo opportunities)...

Very nice! It reminds me of Hakodate at night, but I assume it's somewhere else in the world? You did well to get the moon and the city lights in the same shot. I find the moon really had to photograph because of the contrast.

Thank you Rob. I did a lot of trial-and-error adjustments of the exposure. This was the view from my cousin's house, so I had plenty of time to enjoy it.

It is from Salobreņa in southern Spain - but I guess at this distance there isn't much to give away the setting except that it is somewhere on the coast with mountains.

Great shot! I'm amazed by the colour saturation and the lack of noise. Did you have to do much in post processing to get it this clean?

Thanks, nope on the PP, it was F3.2 on the DA 20-40 and ISO 1250. The KP amazes me in its low light ability. On the K-50 I would have needed a tripod and lot of noise reduction to get close to this. I took several shots walking around tht night, not expecting anything this good. I haven't had the DA 20-40 very long, but for some reason it seems to really shine on these night images.

It bodes well for the K3 successor! I'm quite impressed with the K3 at night, but your photo clearly demonstrates that the KP is better at night.

Night Sky At Coleville, California. We stayed at the KOA there, in one of the "cabins". This was right outside our door, behind the campground.

One more from behind the Coleville KOA, without star trails.
