That was my first reaction but I edited it - the lens makes the store look bigger. The Shinjuku store is nowhere near the size of the Akiba one. I used to have a photo online of the same corner using the K200D and DA 16-45 but unfortunately I removed it.

Yes, you have it right. The one in Akihabara, If I remember it correctly, it is the biggest electronic store in Japan. This one in shinjukus is quite messy both inside and outside. However its neon sign made cool looking photo espically when it rain.

I agree! This is what the Shinjuku store looked like in 2009 with a K200D and a DA 16-45.

Great shot - I really like the stark leafless trees against the night sky. I'm always amazed how empty the northern hemisphere sky is, however. In the southern hemisphere we are looking into the core of the galaxy.
