OK, blue doors anyone? The first is one of the many graffiti doors I can find locally. Some of the messages are quite powerful. What situation would someone have to be in to write this?

I love how pretty this garage door is. This is from a little community just over the river.

Found the next one in Ontario. I guess you can tell by now that I like textures.

Three Irish doors this time, for those who like them.

This is Ennis. Of all the things to shoot I took this picture and I don't know why I kept it.

Now moving on to Dingle, a rather pretty town that caters to tourists more than usual.

Another Dingle town shot. Mmm... I'm thinking about going in for a pint.

At the University of Limerick campus they have just built, at great expense, a building to house the dance and music departments. This department primarily concerns itself with Irish traditional dance and song -- it is renowned.

Opinions on the ostentatious building are divided, but it does make a good photographic subject.

I like the feeling of this shot, which I colour processed. It is the entranceway to a dance studio.

Studio Doors

(Shot with the Cosina 100mm macro.)

When I visited my aunt I took lots of shots of her beautiful gardens. She requested I take this view, since she had unsuccessfully tried with her point and shoot camera. The problem was one of dynamic range, so I used three exposures to capture the lovely light and textures. No tripod but I did have a monopod on hand and tried to be very steady!
