Thanks Robin, yes all taken in our neighborhood, lots of old/abandoned stuff over here.
This tread is going really fast.

People have posted some very interesting doors in this thread. This may be the funkiest metal door I've ever seen in person . . .

Completing our travelogue for now, this one is in malaga, Spain. Though actually we did not stop here... so many bars, so little time. But the two cats are just like ours -- one white, one black -- so a photo had to happen. (Even a simple snapshot.)

Taberna Dos Gatos

(Shot with the DA 12-24mm.)
All very nice images

These doors belong to an old industrial building of some sort in Capps, Fl on US 27. Its actually a relatively large building for the township.

These double doors have seen their better days . . .

a thoroughly enjoyable thread!

I remembered the following one from Ireland. Super Takumar 50mm f1.4 on SP500.

Perhaps stretching the "doorway" a bit though.

A gate. From my neck of the woods.

Not mine, though
The gate, that is. The picture is mine.

Cross posted but the Popash school had a serious front door. I'm surprised this building got abandoned and recently demolished. I guess it creeped people out.

I love the doors theme more than most, so have a few special photos to share in a couple of posts. One or two have been previously posted to other threads, since there is so me cross-over in content.

It's not only the red colouring and texture but the lettering I love here, and the way the windows peak into the frame of the door.

AMBUL NO

(Shot with the FA 43mm Limited.)

Some unusual street art from our trip to Andalusia. I have a whole thread or two of such art from Granada.

(Shot with the DA 12-24mm.)

It's odd but I don't remember where I found these. I am tempted to say Dingle, but then again...

One of my favourite shots ever, taken in our own home. The Cosina has a lovely softness that, in the right conditions, results in a very pleasant texture. I don't use it enough, since I have sharper options. But sharpness is not everything.

Breeze

(Shot with the Cosina 100mm macro.)

Malaga has some very pretty streets and alleys, with loads of colours and textures to enjoy.

blue stripe

(Shot with the DA 12-24mm.)

OK, that's all my door shots done, for a while. I'll be out there shooting more once my poor fingers are rested up!
