Thanks for a fun project, Charlie. Here are two of my favorite handheld shots.

Setting Moon Pentax K200D, Pentax 50-200mm DA telephoto (1/180, f/8, ISO 200)

Below the Narrows Pentax K200D, Pentax 18-55mm DA (1/6, f/19, ISO 100)

EXIF included. I just assumed a brace position to shoot each, a bit like when target shooting.

Thanks, my friend - I can take it .

If it were ethical and i could enter my own " hand held contest " i would title this picture "hand Held" But anyway.--I decided a time limit for the contest and it will run thru July 4th 2010 so that gives everyone ample time to take a shot and submit their 2 photos max.--Charliezap

Nice! At first viewing I thought it was a Marklin HO scale model from my youth.

The good Cappin' Zap suggested I post this one in the challenge - and I always obey the skipper's orders. This one was hand held, shot at ISO 400, 1/500 @ f/9.5.

Just visiting my thread. Not bad so far-over 700 peeks. These guys work at General Electric in Lynn Ma where we make the Navy's attack fighter engine F414.
We had a work party and these guys never played together as a group but we had a good time maybe there were alcohol spirits involved. You can see the song they did on you tube. go to you tube--charliezapful is the search name and check out the fun we had--- B street blues band is another link but charliezapful will get you there.---charliezap
