Apologies for taking such a long time with deciding the winner.
There were loads of great entries which didn't make it easy.
I gave plus points for sorting out the 'pigs ear' I made with the horizon but didn't mark down too much for missing dust spots, even my pet fly most of you spotted in the foam. I should clean my sensor more often.

Nice job straightening the horizon
Sky looks a little unnatural in comparison with the foreground
JeffJS
Nicely balanced processing with good contrast in the wood
Perrumpo
I like the smooth cool colours in this one
song hm
Generally a good job with the monochrome conversion but the foam is a little blown on my monitor
ramseybuckeye
An interesting take with this version but I find the groyne taking up the whole width to be a bit of a barrier.
TOUGEFC
A very powerful and moody impression, quite dark but not lacking in details
MrAppolinax
A interesting almost metallic effect you brought to this one but not too sure about the colour of the foam
icywarm
I like the crop bring the attention to the end of the groyne but I think you're right about the sunlight on the horizon.
EricT
Very creative and I like the conversion apart from the blockiness in the clouds.
My daughter was just about there before I took this shot, but if I'd asked her to pose like this she would've fallen in.
slinco
I like the close crop on the sky and you've dealt with the rays very well.
ozlizard
The cloud detail has been handled very well with good contrast in the wood and sand.
dandog
Again, a nice job with the horizon and the foreground but the sky is a bit too heavy for me.
Kryosphinx
Very nicely processed but I think it needs something at the end of the groyne to act as a stop for the eye.
The winner is the one that I think balanced accentuating the contrasts in the wood and the sky but at the same time retained the feeling of movement in the surge of foam in the foreground.
Congratulations Jeff,
I look forward to seeing what you've got for us for the next challenge.
