Hello from Finland!

Hi all!

I am an young Finnish student girl who is obsessed with cameras. I found this forum a few days ago and decided to join. This site seems to be very informative and nice.

I've used Pentax K110D with 18-55mm/3.5-5.6 for almost three years now. I have been happy with the kit lens but finally I ordered Tamron AF 70-300mm/4-5.6 Di LD macro and Raynox DCR-250. Can't wait to get them! I've also planned to buy other lenses when I'll get more money. I take nature and animal pictures mainly but sometimes I photograph in parties etc.

Cheers,
Henna

Welcome! Hope you like your new lenses! I am new here also. I am going to try some of my older lenses with my new digital camera and see what it can do.
Take care,
Edith

Welcome Edith and Henna,

Henna, I don't think you could have made a better choice. The Tamron and the Raynox will, I believe, satisfy your needs for a long time.

Edith, I am sure you will find that your older lenses will perform admirably with your new camera.

Do Dorothy and Toto live near you?

That's not fair:

I wanted to say that same bad joke, but I was afraid I would get yelled at.

Ira,

See what happens when you sit on somebody's lap and let them talk for you.
How are Charlie and Mortimer and Effie?
Give my regards to Bergie.

They're all dead.

The one you see here is either going to be a grumpy old Jewish man or grumpy old Italian man. I'm building his wife now--older spicy Latina woman.

Welcome Henna! It's nice to get another member in the rather small Suomi squad here You'll see that this really is most likely the best photo forum out there, with friendly and extremely knowledgeable people.

Tervetuloa!

T: Riku

Edit: Welcome Edith also

I've been around here for a while now and I see Finnish people posting very rarely. Nice to see you all! Welcome aboard, Henna.

Tervetuloa, Henna! Welcome, Edith!

Yes, it's good to see more Finns here at PentaxForums. (Alas, I'm only part Finnish, and I live in Wisconsin.)

Edith, I've been using mostly older Pentax M-series lenses with my new K-7, and they work great. (Of course, so does my DA70. . . .)

Enjoy the forum!
