Hello from Tampa Fl

I am new to dslr and plan on purchasing an k-x early next month. I'm looking forward to getting it in time for my two week New York vacation. Any advice for someone new to slr photography?

Welcome to the forum. You will probably find that you'll get more answers to your question if you post it in the Pentax Beginners Forum.

Welcome, Chris.

There's another thread in General Photography about someone going to New York, and he/she did a whole Google map thing on what to shoot.
