Hello from Rocky Top Country!

I am so pleased to find this forum! I have owned my Pentax K-1000 for nearly 25 years and have finally decided it is time to venture into the world of the DSLR.
I am enjoying reading all the posts and viewing all the photos in the galleries.
Looking forward to posting some shots of my own soon for feedback and critique.
I live in the mountains of east Tennessee and have many wonderful places to photograph.

I was born in Knoxville and am a UT grad but haven't lived in TN since the early 70s. You do have some beautiful places to take photos!

I used to buy my film and dark room supplies from Thompson Photo Products in Knoxville and owned Pentax equipment way back then. Still have my Spotmatic and 3 lenses from that time.

The forum is great and is loaded with great information. I know you will enjoy.
