New K100D in Philadelphia

Hi! I'm a recent member and My K100D just arrived. I'm just disapointed that I couldn't pick it up till tonight and it's dark out. I can't wait till I get out and start playing with my new toy.

Hey these are 24 hour a day cameras!! Break out the tripod and go shoot the city lights. Haven't got a tripod? Take a bean bag and put the camera on 2 second timer. I was in Philly once but only for a day, Lots of historic places to see and shoot. Looking forward to some great photos. Welcome to the forum. Great people here and lots of good info.

Hi Oldschool:

You will have fun with your camera. I went through Philadelphia in an Army bus and we only stopped at a cafeteria for lunch :-)

Welcome to the forum. Look east and wave. I'm just across the river in NJ.

make sure you get a good shot of the liberty bell. I didnt have my dSLR the last time I was there. I think I need a re-visit of the city of brotherly love.
