Hello, I am new to this

I have been a pentax user since the early days of the ME. The attraction was the compact size and the low weight. When using heavy lenses why would you want a camera that makes it even heavier. I was introduced to Digital with a prosumer Sony 717. Quickly I out grew that one. With the announcement of the Pentax DSLR I was hooked. used my old lenses, bought new ones and I was ready to go. I was always an automatic shooter until i started working and learning from a studio. Now it is all manual, inclusing my new lenses. This is real shooting. Any body have cool ideas or tricks about effects with your pentax?

This forum is full of clever PP techniques and tricks! You've come to the right place. I'd recommend you start in the professional section, or in the post-processing forum.
