Hello all,

Bought a K7 prior to my daughter's state gymnastics competition. Had to learn really fast, but really nice manual. Still struggling, as does anyone, with getting action shots in low light. Got the 18-50 kit lens and a 55-300 f 4- 5.6. Just not really fast lenses. Wish I had a large pot of gold to buy lenses. Have been curious about using some old lenses I had on an old Nikon EM and whether it's possible to adapt those lenses to my K7/whether that's even a good idea.

Hi there Eric I am new to the K-7 as well but not new to Pentax. Stick it out, get some awesome glass and shoot amazing photos. For me with my K10D when I first got it I developed a bit of LBA because all of my local thrift stores had glass. Soooo I would suggest trying that way or save up and get a really good long lens
