Just got registered here after just reading for about 4-5 months. Bought a k10d a few months ago to learn with. Ended up buying more gear each time I get somewhat use to something I already have. I learned the basics of film and light in regards to my field years ago and have always wanted to learn to do real world photography. I have a couple of Pentax zoom lenses to get around, but am looking/ saving for a good prime or two to add to my rucksack. I am absolutley enjoying this hobby so far, and wish I had the talent to turn it into a full-time job! Thanks for everything and inspiration from you all so far!

I've often wondered if having photography as a full time job could kill the hobby.
