Hello - New K-x user

Hello All,

I bought a K-x kit (18-55 and 55-300) a few weeks back. This is my first DSLR. Have been browsing through this forum for a few days and have found it very helpful. While my photos aren't quite up to the mark yet, I am very happy with the K-x and hope that with time and practice, I will be able to take photos of the quality that you all post on this forum.

Welcome to the forum. Photography does take practice. I've been doing it 35 years and I've progressed to being about average technically, with a pretty good compositional eye, which helps a bit.

That pretty much sums it up for me too, but it's going to take another 35 years for me to get the eye.

Welcome neighbor, San Jose here. Let me know if you know of any good scenic walking trails in the fremont area. There are a lot in my neck of the woods
