Hello, I joined the forum less than a week ago. I have been using Pentax equipment for many, many years going back to the Spotmatic models and made the jump to a ist DS in August of this year. I have several M42 mount lens for the old Spotmatic that I thought I would be able to use with the DS that I have not used as yet. I do have the Tamron 18 - 200 Zommie as well as the kit lens, and I just picked up a Prime 1.7 af off of Ebay. At this time after some 800 shots with the DS, I have no disappointments to report with the camera.
