G'Day

GDay! Thought i should say Hello,

I bought my very first camera many years ago now a Pentax MZ 50 with 2 lenses a Sigma 100-300mm and a 28-80mm with macro to which i still have
I then added a Sigma 170-500mm to my kit and used this for a number of years and watched the digital ages come through. At this stage i stopped Photography for a while (Motorbikes )
Then i though after an operation i had done that its time to get back into it (Birding mostly). I bought a Pentax K200d (Still own and use Macro mostly) I find this camera takes awseome images its an amazing body for something that was so cheap.
Getting really into it now I then bought a K-7 Great body also and my prime body as of today. With this came my first Penatx lenes The camera came with a 18-55mm WR kit lens works ok i think and i then added a pentax100mm macro ( Very cool Lens) and a Pentax 10-17mm fisheye followed (This is an awesome lens I love it heaps)
I have just got this week a Pentax 300mm* F4 this lens is yet to be used and tommorrow is test/play time

Im so glad i stuck to Pentax Everyone was trying get me out of it but i love Pentax and its awesome to stick it to the Cannon and Nikon users when ya take that cracker shot. I have some people who cant belive it that my images come from a Pentax.
I have two more lenses to add to my kit and they are a Pentax 12-24mm and a Sigma 500mm F4.5 Prime. Time to retire the 170-500
If u are interested in my shots please by all means check them out on Flickr

Sounds like you've got a good kit coming along there John. My camera and my motorbike are the two material things I love most in life, but it is two quite expensive hobbies. I fear the bike shall have to go soon.

Welcome in.
