Hi there,

I just joined today after picking up a K-x with the kit lens. I'm a Canon (5D2) shooter who was looking for a small, lightweight setup for those days when I don't want to lug around the heavy/expensive gear. I've heard so much about the K-x and given that I had two manual focus k-mount lenses already (Rikenon 50mm f/2, and Vivitar 70-210), I figured why not give it a shot. I think I'd like to investigate some of those Limited lenses someday, but for now it's fun with manual focus!

This actually marks a return for me, as the first SLR camera I ever had was a Pentax back in the late 1980s.

Anyway, happy to be here.
