Hi, I'm new to the forum and new to DSLR photography. I recently purchased the Pentax K-x and a little intimidated by it as I was so use to using my old Pentax ME Super, (
many moons ago) and since digital cameras came out I didn't bother upgrading to a DSLR camera and just bought a Lumix pocket camera, which has been a great little pocket camera, but now I find I want more from my photographs.
I've purchased Yvon Bourque's K-X ebook which I'm hoping will help me understand this new camera, and get me started.
I still have many old lenses from my ME Super, in particular my Pentax-A 1:4 35-70mm (which I loved at the time) and was told I would still be able to use this lens on my K-x camera, I assume I would have to use this in manual Mode only??
This looks like a great (active) forum and hope to learn a lot about my new K-x DSLR and getting to know some of you.
I think I'm going to need all the help I can get.
Kind regards
Kimbolina
