Howdie doodie from California.. not the sunny one! And the name's Rab.
Bought myself a K110d a few years ago, Love it.. but it's never had a great deal of use. Decided to treat myself to a bigger lens for it after a recent trek to a track night with a friend, but none of the shops in my area stock Pentax stuff anymore

A click on google brought me here.. so I'm off to do some browsing

Welcome to the forum, I think there is a total lack of Pentax presence for the whole of Scotland.

You mention shops in plural, a shop for me would be great.

PS apart from ffordes that is.

Search is over... found a nice member selling one on here and awaiting it's arrival later in the week =)

kerrowdown, I must have called about 30 shops with the radius going up to about 65 miles before i gave up! Was even checking shops up in Inverness and Elgin to no avail, Had a wee trip up there today with work.
I'm one of them people that like to try things before i buy!

This could be a wee problem with Pentax kit.

I had kinda noticed this of late, A few said that they could order items in though.
Now that I've found a very active forum.. don't think I'll be buying anything else new
