Greetings fellow enthusiasts!

After about a year as an anonymous guest, the time has finally come for me to join in!
Iíve been interested in photography for many years, but kept myself to the trusted old P & S until a couple of months ago when I treated myself to a K-7 and some lenses. To be honest, I wasnít too impressed with it at first, but eventually I started to figure it out a little bit and now it just grows on me more and more every time I pick it up. It is still very much a school book example of the equipment being way more sophisticated and capable than the photographer, though. Iíve got a lot to learn and this forum seems to be a great place for advice and inspiration!

Thank you both!

As for Scottish regiments, no ties at all, Iím afraid. I just shamelessly nicked the name from good old BR Deltic 55013, which of course in turn got its name from the regiment in question. Hope this doesnít upset the Scots
