hi folks

Big hello to all pentaxians over the world, my name is Rastislav, I am from Slovakia, Europe.
I have been using cameras since I was 6, but honestly, finally became fully concerned with all the pros and cons of the sensors and cameras after I started to use the raw mode on my Fuji S9600. It also opened my eyes in terms of sensor size, noise and so on.
Now, owning the K-x and after some 19000 shots I am very happy being a part of Pentax family, and very happy with the possibilities offered by digital photography.
Wish you all good light!

thank you gentlemen for warm words, the high frame count is due to two reasons mainly: firstly I was playing with making some gif-s, these sessions revealed few things-on a tripod, with MF, using IR remote I reached my record of over 2700 shots on properly charged NiMH Sanyo 2700, and the GIMP is able to put together 1500 images to one gif
second reason is that I also shoot lot of panoramas, also HDR panoramas (the PTgui pro is the best for me since it is happy with bracketed images in manual mode)
I will share some of the best, there is of course long way to go
have a nice weekend

S9600 is not a bad camera at all, just need to keep the ISO down...I liked it for having raw option, and threaded release, sold it to a friend who is an occasional shooter so I know it is in good hands
