Hi!

Hey everyone!

Ok so I'm new to the forum, and new to the ranks of Pentaxians as well. I have a Pentax K7 and it is amazing. I am just learning about photography and my camera, but I love it and I can tell it will be a life long passion.

Welcome! Glad to year you're liking your k-7, as it's a great camera. Have you tried the 1.1 firmware update yet?

Firmware "programs" your camera to perform better and more reliably, because in effect, your camera is nothing more than a computer which takes pictures.

Go to Pentax.com...North America....support....downloads...firmware...and follow their instructions exactly.
