greetings from new mexico (usa)

Hello everyone, I'm new to Pentax cameras and to the forum. My shooting interests include city scenes/architecture/people/sports, mostly in evening light. Recently purchased a new K-x, along with 21mm and 40mm Limiteds, as well as the 55-300mm zoom tele. I already had a Nikon D90, and I purchased the K-x knowing that it employs the same sensor as the D90. Both cameras are pretty great, but I have to tell you that I'm now thinking about selling the Nikon! With the small footprint and weight of my new Pentax rig, I have to ask - why keep both? Since I'm out in the city at night and like to keep a low profile, my new Pentax gear is perfect - everything fits in a small waist bag.
Of course, there are a few things that the Nikon offers that the Pentax does not, but those features are mostly options I never use. I also prefer the simpler settings and controls on the K-x, so why spend more time fiddling than necessary? (And no, I do not miss the AF indicators!) Anyone else have a similar experience when moving from Nikon? The K-x with Limited lenses rocks! (Will post pics when I get a chance....) btw-what size jpegs are best for positng here?

I'm happy to hear you're liking the Pentax system! The K-x is definitely a well-built and well-designed camera. I've been a die-hard Pentaxian, though, so can't shed any light on the transition from Nikon.
