Hello from Leipzig/Germany

Hi folks,

I am following some threads for some weeks now - I just wanted the frame with the "Why not introduce yourself" disappear. I own a K-7 for some months now. Love the possibility to walk around in the rain with it.

I greet all enthusiasts!

Chris

Thank you!

Hi Chris,
Thank you for the welcome. How often do you get online and upload pictures? I cant seem to find any of your albums but I'm not sure if I really know my way around this forum, but learning fast!
Once again, thanks for the welcome!
Carol

Thank you, Carol.

I haven't uploaded any picture yet - I used the forum more for getting new inspirations and even more to learn new techniques. Until last summer I still did photos with positive film and an older Minolta.

I always have a lot of questions. I am sure to ask them some day in this forum.

Chris

PS: My original picture I uploaded had a slight other color tone. In the browser the picture seem to look a bit dirty-greenish, the original is more blue-toned green (which was very natural - I didn't changed anything). Do you know, what happened?

I don't know about color shifts, but a lot of problems is because of resizing:

If you link to images which are 7 to 10 inches wide at 72 dpi--have no idea what that is in millimeters--it eliminates problems involved with the resizing this site has to do to make it fit.

Do you know/remember the image size of the original image linked here? Also, it's RGB, correct? Not CMYK?

Viewing CMYK in your imaging editing program will look wonderful, but posting that on a web site which is RGB can really screw things up.
