Hi everyone, my name is Ed and I just joined the Forum. I'm new to SLR, just bought my first SLR a few weeks ago (Pentax K-X). I've always been interested in photography but it wasn't until recently that I decided to go ahead and take the plunge and buy it. I've been lurking around the websites for a few weeks now and pretty much every question I have there has been more than enough information to answer it. So far I'm loving the K-X and its features, from the little use I have given it, I prefer the DA 50-200mm over the DA 18-55mm, I look forward to learn more from the website.

You might see this frequently in some posts ---> LBA. It is "lens buying addiction", if you did not know already :-) Remember, some old manual-focus lenses are a really cheap fix (though I'm not a manual-focuser).

I'm in LBA denial...really...I don't have LBA...well much...well...just don't ask my wife...
