Hello From AZ

Hello! New to digital to any photography! I have a Pentax K7 w/ a 28-80mm Tamron lens and a 100-300mm lens. I can't wait to learn all about it! I'm interested in landscape/nature/weather photography. I would appreciate any tips/ pointers about the manual functions on my camera and/or critiques of my pictures...I really want to improve!

Thanks to all in advance!

Take Care and God Bless,

Welcome AZ weatherchick. The fellas might be a little shy at first but they'll warm up. But once they get to pontificating the merits of DSLR you learn alot.
p.s. the genre of interest will teach you quite a lot about the capture of light. Good Luck and Happy Clipping and enjoy the world of Pentax.

Welcome. You have a good starting point for lenses for your interest but may I highly suggest a wider prime (maybe even a zoom) for landscapes. My 18mm kit lens is barely wide enough for me for most landscape shots. Before you buy a lens though, be sure to look at the lens review section, it has a ton of useful information.
