Hello all. I'm from Sandusky,Ohio. I've been on and off the Forum or a couple of months now.I wasn't really sure what it was all about so I tread lightly in the beginning. It seems to be a great bunch of people with one thing in common.Pentax. I've been into photography for almost twenty years now. In the beginning i was a die hard Canon man. For some reason I got out of 35mm photography and sold all of that stuff. After about a year or more off a friend approached me to teach him the fundamentals of film photography. That's all it took to get the urge again.I'm glad i chose Pentax .I'm still into film.I have a digital of another brand but not an SLR.
I have three Program Plus cameras.Plus an assortment of Vivitar series one lenses.

Welcome! Glad to see you on the forum- and you've sure got a great camera (but why not the Super Program over the Program Plus?)!

after having Canon A1's for the longest time and they also don't go past 1/1000th of a second
i have become comfortable with this level of camera. truthfully i didn't know the difference between the two in the beginning. true it does fall short of even the A1's ability. i only need a little automatic anything.
