Back to Pentax

Hi, Iím new to the forums, but not new to Pentax. I bought an H1a (used) in 1964 and added a Spotmatic in 1968. When my cameras were stolen in 1978 I got a couple of Chinonís because provided some automation and a power drive and they used my screw mount lenses. Pentax didnít tell me at that time that I could use them on a K-mount body with an adaptor and the adaptors/bodies available then wouldnít allow you to focus to infinity.

I kind of dropped out of serious photography in the late eighties and nineties. The last few years Iíve been using a Sony point and shoot digital but have been dreaming about a DSLR since the *ist came along and will use those lenses scattered around the closets and attic.

I finally purchased a K100D which I received two days ago and a screw mount adaptor which I received yesterday. The few test shots so far have been beautiful. I hope the forums will assist me in returning to the world of Pentax Photography.

David
