Hi all,

Nearly a Pentax owner - have just ordered the K10D with the 18-55 lens.

Just moving up to grown-up photography from a Fujifilm S602Zoom and will be scouring these forums for tips and advice as the whole SLR side of things is new to me.

Hope to post early pics soon.

Where is Thame, or is it Thames?

Hi there,

Thame is market town just outside Oxford - it sits on the river Thame which is a tributary to the river Thames.

Sorry 'bout that, figured it out when I looked "Thame, UK" up on Google Maps.

Is Thame pronounced "Thame", or "Tim" (like the "Tims")?

When are you getting the K10D?

Its pronounced as 'tame' as in the opposite to wild and it pretty much lives upto its name as not a lot happens here!

Hopefully the camera will arrive this week!
