Hello from the Netherlands

Ok, here's my introduction on this Pentax Forum.

I've been reading lots of posts during the last few years over here but I never registered. I'm already posting on Dutch Pentax forums and on the dpreview.com forums for quite a long time so I didn't take the effort of registering over here up until now...

I am a Pentax user since 2008 when I bought my first DSLR, a K100D Super. Before that I was using advanced compact cameras like the Canon Powershot G3.

I'm enjoying digital photography since 2003 when I bought this Canon.

After buying the K100D things really started off. Since then I acquired some nice lenses; both AF and manual ones. Last year I replaced Tthe K100D for my current K-x.

After collecting some nice M-series manual lenses I started craving for a classic Pentax film SLR. This is where pentaxforums.com became really interesting to me. There are a lot of very helpful topics on film SLRs over here.

After a lot of reading I bought a mint condition ME Super, Program A and ME II winder.

So far I really enjoy 'old school' photography like this , especially the results of taking photographs of my 2 precious little ladies are very pleasing to me:

Beside these old cameras I still enjoy my K-x off course and I will also contribute in the digital section of this forums.

Nice to meet you all!

Thanks for the reply, MRRiley,

Besides my M-series lenses (28mm3.5/50mm1.7/135mm3.5) I also have some AF lenses I didn't mention in my opening post:

-SMC Pentax-F 28mm f/2.8
-SMC Pentax-F 35-70mm f/3.5-4.5

-SMC Pentax-DA 40mm f/2.8 Limited

-SMC Pentax-FA 50mm f/1.4

-Sigma 17-70mm f/2.8-4.5

Flash unit: Pentax AF360FGZ

And 2 compact backup cameras:

-Ricoh GX200 -Great versatile camera, took all the pictures in my first post, unfortunately not usable above ISO 200

-Fuji F70EXR, a nice compact camera with decent low light capabilities.

That's about it.
