Just joined the forum hoping to share some thoughts with some like minded people. When out and about I am aware that the world is full of Canon and Nikon users and rarely see a Pentax.

I have owned Pentax SLR's for 25+ years, my first beings a MX with 1.7 50mm lens. I still have this camera, which is mint with all the original boxes .

After a long period with an ME Super and then a MZ-50 I have a K10D.

Reasons for buying Pentax DSLR - always had good reasult and reliability plus a few non digital SLR lens that I use from time to time.

Unfortunately, my hobby is subject to strict budgets these days

A busy work life will limit time on the forum but I hope to get into some good discussions.

And yup, Pentax marketing has its problems...
