Hello from N. Dallas

Hi all. I am an interior design blogger, and am wanting to take better photographs of my interiors, projects and food.

I just bought my first DSLR, a K-X with an 18-55 lens. I also just bought a 50-200mm lens, tripod and some filters. I am hoping to get advice on accessories and other general knowledge in these forums as I am new to all of this and it is a little overwhelming.

Thanks!

Welcome. You chose a great camera for indoor shooting. The Kx has low light/high ISO capabilities match only by a few cameras (that are 100s if not 1000s more). Be sure to check out the lens review section to see which will best suit your needs before you buy. Good Luck.

Welcome to the forum!

I lived in Frisco for 5 years before moving to Utah. I hope you find this forum as usable as I have!

Thanks for the welcome. I am glad to hear that the K-X is good for indoor lighting. I have been perusing some of the lens reviews to try and learn.

Opiet70 - I live in Frisco too, small world. However, I am sure Utah has such amazing opportunities for outdoor photography.
