Hello from Vancouver Canada

I have been an amateur photographer for 45 years.My first digital camera(Point and shoot) I won in a photo contest 10 years ago.I finaly bought a DSLR the Kx because of the reviews,size and I had so many old Pentax FX lenses and others.After using the Kx for awhile I find carrying all these is just to much.I now only carry the kit 18-55 lens and an older (1987) very fast and sharp Sigma AF 75-200 at F3.8 througout (apparently a licence lens from Zeiss Jena).I also carry a Kenko AF 1.5 X Teleplus and a Neewer0.45X Super Wide for the 18-55 lens in case one is in a very confined area.A Sigma EF-500 DGST flash and 2 Polarizers are in my bag .I still need a fast 28 to 31mm F 1.4 fixed lens for low light shooting and then I am a very happy Pentaxian.

Welcome to the forums, kid! (I can say that 'cause I've been shooting almost 55 years.)

You need more lenses. You've come to the right place. We'll get you all fixed up, yup.

When you achieve my level of LBA, you'll need a pack-llama for your gear. Name it Ansel.

I won't advise on fast ~30mm glass because I want some too, without competition.

Wait -- you say you have too many old lenses? I can help there... heh heh.

Other equipment I still own are Pentax A 2.8 28mm lens,Pentax M 2.8 40mm (pancake),Pentax F 3.5-4.5 35-70mm (AF zoom), Tamron AF 4.5-5.6 90-300mm,Vivitar 2x marcro focusing teleconverter, Pentax AF 400FTZ Flash,Sigma Ef-500 DGST Flash,Vivitar 2500 flash,Vivitar550 FD Flash,Gossen Lunasix 3 light meter,6 tripods from light to heavy duty.Got rid of most of my film cameras,Topcon, Zeiss ,Pentax etc
