Hello everyone

Hi all, I am new to DSLR cameras, just bought a Pentax K-x after considering following cameras - Nikon D5000, Canon T1i, Olympus E620, Pentax K-x.

I found that all of the cameras had their own strong points, and weaknesses finally it was down to D5000 and K-x, here I found that K-x blows D5000 completely and manages to upset even D90 in some areas - Burst rate.

Very happy with this camera, first opportunity was to test this in Bronx zoo in NYC, I am attaching some pictures - would appreciate your critique, the quality might not be the best as the limit on file size.

Thanks

Welcome! I used to live in NY, fun place.

Nice photos. The second one looks like has a bit of motion blurr. I love the Owl one. What lens did you use?

Welcome to the forum, and congrats on the K-x.
Good start with your images here - just work on your focusing and hand steadiness.

thanks for feedback friends
@agsy - yes I think glass partition was esp. not clean as well, so that contributed as well. - Used a 55-300mm DAL - Kit lens.

@ ash - Thanks, would work on that.. still getting used to weight of a DSLR...
