Hello I have just joined the Pentax forums.

I used to be a keen 35mm photographer using Nikon FE2 mainly then later Canon EOS 100, Nikon F50 & Olympus OM2n with various types of lenses. I took the plunge and picked up a DSLR + 18-55 & 55-200mm kit lenses for a bargain price Samsung GX20 last year. OK not a pedigree Pentax KD 20 but hey a very close clone of excellent build quality so I was very happy.

I've been playing around with old PKA lenses that fit on the camera and actually meter and I've even tried some of my manual Nikon lenses using an adapter. I just like playing around with quality equipment and getting out and shooting what I can. The instant results from a DSLR does have its benefits but there are a lot more buttons and options than the old manual type film SLRs that I have yet to master.

I'm sure these forums will be of great help to me.
