Hello from Denmark

My name is OBC (short for my three first names), and I was born in Copenhagen in 1929. I have spent all my adult life in the Army, until I retired as a Major in 1985.

Since ca 1950 I have been interested i photography, and around 1960 I bought my first Asahi Pentax, later a good old Spotmatic. My digital equipment consists now of a K100D Super and a quite new K-x.

My favourite motives are nature, city life, people and animals - mostly dogs.

Welcome OBC.

LIke you, photography for me started in the 50's when I was a RAF photographer during my National Service (good old days!). This led to my career in photography for the next 40 or so years. I've used a lot of cameras in that time but always have had a fondness for Pentax - always a photographers camera and fortunately, the Company has never forgotten how to do that.
