Hey guys, I've lurked a while and finally decided it best to register and join in the fun.
I'm Lee, married to a wonderful woman . . . 4 spoiled, but good, children. I'm an attorney by day, but have been bitten with the photography bug. I mostly just take snaps of the family, but want to branch out and do some lower-light shooting, like kid soccer, my girls gymnastics and wildlife. I'm an avid outdoorsman and love to turkey hunt. This year I want to hunt with a camera and all I currently have is an Olympus E-P1. It takes great still shots, but it has it's limitations. I realized these last weekend, after borrowing a buddy's 7D and 70-200mm lens.
Anyway, I'm really new to more advanced photography. The new K-5 looks spectacular and I already have some old M42 lens that perform very well on my Oly Pen. The in-body stabilization is a huge selling point for me, along with the affordable, but remarkable Pentax lens. I hope to pick up a body in the next couple weeks and join all you happy folk shooting Pentax!
