Hi from Canada!

Hi all, new here!

I'm currently a SAHM to a 6 month old little guy and have decided I need to get out of automatic mode on my Pentax K110D - these days are too few to not have excellent pictures of! I've got a long way to go but I guess we all start somewhere.

Looking forward to much improvement and all the excellent info this forum has to offer.

If that's too intimate of a question ... welcome here anyway!

As for information on photography ... this forum has been my "school" for the past couple of years!
You'll find the folks very helpful and also very knowledgeable.
Lots of photo-geeks too ... the good ones!

I'm from Edmonton - does that help?

I'm actually a transplant from NW Wisconsin and go back multiple times a year to visit family and friends.
