Hi all. I'm jon from new york city and i've been shooting video and photos for a very long time. I started out on my dads super 8 film camera and went to sony hi8 v1000 professional cameras. i still have a canon L2 hi8 camera that i still use alot. now i use the red KX for my music video work. I run the web site New Black Music.net. I do alot of music videos and promotional work.
i used my canon hv20 to shot a short film before i got the kx and the film just won an award here in new york. i will be using the kx and my next camera (k7 or canon t2i) to shoot a feature film i wrote.

Hey, Jon! I'm proud to have lived in Brooklyn for a while when I was stationed at the old Brooklyn Army Terminal. Legend has it that I was the inspiration for Travola's character in Saturday Night Fever (well, ok, I just made that part up ;~)
