Been lurking for a while and reading a lot so thought I ought to get acquainted.

Pre-Ordered a K5 on the 15th from Adorama through the site. Probably paying a little too much for it but it looks to be exactly what I have been wanting. Looks to be a great upgrade to replace my K20. Hoping it handels my SDM lenses better than the K20.

Don't know why it hasn't arrived yet???

Welcome and congratulations on having a great camera (K20D) and buying another great camera. From all accounts, the K-5 is much improved over previous Pentax DSLR's.

Welcome Gatorpops! I think you'll find the K-5 a nice upgrade over your already very nice K20D. The SDM does autofocus a bit faster with the K-5. I believe this is mostly because the AF doesn't double check as much as previous Pentax DSLRs.

Look forward to seeing some of your outdoor photos.
