Just bought my new K-X Kit in navy blue, and I love it to bits.
I used to take photographs with a P&S Canon Ixus 850, and it served me well. However, expectations became higher, and it's sometimes frustrating when you can't capture the soul of a landscape the way you want it. Therefore I decided to get a DSLR.
I have done alot of research for the past year, and tested out various DSLRs - Nikon 90D, Canon 550D, Sony A550, etc. They all felt great in my hands, and they're great in many aspects. But after the vigorous research, I feel that Pentax k-x is the One.
I travel alot (due to work and whatnot), so I want something lightweight. There's many lightweight entry-level DSLRs in the market now, including micro four-thirds and whatnot, but specs-wise K-X is still the best bang for my buck. I did not know of Pentax before, but I'm glad I found it.
Hoping to learn more from other Pentax users after joining this forum!
