New Pentax K10D owner and first step to digital photography

Hey

Recently bought a gently used Pentax K10D and I'm very pleased with it. This is my first DSLR and I'm keeping my first step to the world of digital photography. I love to take portraits, landscapes and sports. I'm a novice and any help regarding how to use take pictures, types of lenses, tips tricks will be of great help.

Welcome to the forums. Any questions you may have that you cannot find answers to about photography, cameras lenses, etc, can surely be answered by the wide range of knowledge of these Forum members.

Welcome here S.
You have gotten yourself a camera that will last you a long time no doubt. Perhaps its only limitation in your application will be sports, where its AF speed and high ISO performance could be better. But enjoy the learning curve and hope you get what you want from the forum.
